Jesus @ The Center: Who Am I?

Aug 31, 2025    Doug Walls

In this powerful exploration of identity, we're challenged to consider where we've placed our foundation. Are we building our lives on the solid rock of Christ, or on the shifting sands of worldly titles and accomplishments? The parable of the Prodigal Son serves as a poignant reminder of how easily we can lose our way when we forget our true identity as children of God. Just like the son who squandered his inheritance, we often chase after things that ultimately leave us empty. But the beautiful truth is that our Heavenly Father is always waiting, arms open wide, ready to restore us. This message urges us to examine our hearts and ask: Are we living as slaves to the world's expectations, or as beloved sons and daughters of the King? It's time to come to our senses, return home, and embrace the identity that God has always intended for us.

Finding True Identity in Christ: The Journey Home
