Daily Encouragement - Day #15
The Spirit Helps Us Pray
There are times when we do not know what to pray. We feel weak, overwhelmed, confused, or tired. But Romans 8 gives us beautiful encouragement: the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness and intercedes for us.
This means you are not praying alone.
Even when your words are few, God knows your heart. Even when all you can do is sit quietly before Him, the Spirit is at work. Prayer is not limited to our vocabulary. God hears the groans, tears, and longings that words cannot express.
Ephesians 6 reminds us to pray in the Spirit on all occasions, with all kinds of prayers and requests. Prayer is our continual connection to God’s strength.
Today, lean on the Holy Spirit. Ask Him to help you pray. Ask Him to guide your thoughts, desires, and requests.
You are weak, but He is strong.
Today’s Prayer:
Holy Spirit, help me pray. When I do not have the words, intercede for me. Strengthen me in weakness and teach me to pray according to the will of God. Amen.
Scripture Focus: Romans 8:26-27; Ephesians 6:18
