Daily Encouragement - Day #8
Lord, Help Me Quickly
There are moments when our prayers are simple: “Lord, help me.”
Psalm 70 says, “Come quickly to me, O God.” Psalm 141 asks God to listen, guard our lips, and keep us from drifting toward evil. These are honest prayers from a dependent heart.
Today, remember that urgency is welcome in prayer. You do not need perfect words. You do not need to sound spiritual. You can cry out to God right where you are.
Ask Him to guard your mouth. Ask Him to guide your steps. Ask Him to keep you from drifting. Sometimes drifting happens slowly. A little compromise. A little distraction. A little distance. But prayer brings us back into alignment.
God is your help and deliverer. Call on Him today.
Today’s Prayer:
Lord, come quickly to help me. Guard my words, my thoughts, and my choices. Keep me from drifting toward anything that dishonors You. Be my deliverer and my strength today. Amen.
Scripture Focus: Psalm 70:5; Psalm 141:1-4
